Research
Investigating the Effect of Orbital Chemistry on Electronic Structure/Transport
The topology/shape of an electronic structure controls the intrinsic transport properties of a material; Max is developing a framework for modeling the influence of chemical bonding on electronic structure by analyzing first principles calculations. In addition, he also analyzes experimental transport properties to test new transport models for emerging semi-conducting materials.
